Taxes

Personal Tax:

Local Lord: 1 SP/head/year.

Royal tax: 1 GP/head/year for people owning less than 5,000gp in property. For wealthy landowners 5 GP/head/year.

Property Tax:

1% of last appraised value (Local Lords appraise value of property at time of construction, purchase, and/or at the first of every decade DR. i.e. last appraisement was in 1370 DR, and the next is scheduled for 1380.) Temples pay .05% based upon time of construction and/or additions. Temples are not reappraised in the every 10 year cycle.

Business Tax:

All businesses must provide upon request by local Lord, Purple Dragons, tax collectors, custom agents, etc full accounting books. These books must also be available for audit at tax time.

Blacksmiths: 600gp per year
Inns: 500gp per year
Trading Companies: 10gp per ton shipped in or out of Cormyr. First 1,000 tons of basic necessities exempt (food, textiles, etc)
Traders (business that sell stuff out of stores): 100gp per year.
Temples: 1% of revenue from services (healing, resurrection, truthsaying, etc)
Warehouses: 100gp per year
