Anger

Come Thunder
Come lightning
Forces of nature
Which are oh so frightening

Pour forth your power
Pour forth thy might
And rain your hell on earth
This night.

   The fire of the maelstrom
Engulfs my soul
And fuels an anger
Likes of which I've never known

My anger burns
And grows and grows
But I will not relinquish it from my soul

The fires of hell
Don't burn this bright
Because they've never known
Her smiles might.

Nothing ventured
Nothing lost
Except perhaps
My poor old heart

  
Power is good
Might makes right
But they don't mean shit
Without your love tonight

The haunting

In the crashing waves and howling storm
The ghost will come tonight.
Through shrieking winds and cold hard hail
My demons won't stay away.
Past sandy dunes and wrought iron fence
The horrors won't hold back.
Through locked doors and barred windows
My dreams will haunt with force.
The thunders frightful peel and winds shrill squeal
Won't mask my souls cry
Cause my heart can't stand
And my mind won't last
If I dream of you tonight.
