After a long night of debate about the number of angels that could dance on a beer cap, we left for the adventure. Before we left Jefferson City, We stopped by MRRL to get some printouts of brewpubs along the way. There Donovan got to say howdy to some old friends.

Our next stop was to stock up on supplies: bagels, meat, fruit, cheese, and pudding.

We then left Jeff City behind. An hour later we realized that we were on the wrong highway. Never fear! After a short consultation with the map, we corrected our error and plotted an course to get us back on track.

Along the way we saw many interesting sights: gas at $1.32, GUM on Mike's shoe, car's on the highway (Whoda thunk?!) and an McDonalds that spanned an Oklahoma Toll road. Ah Oklahoma.... and of the toll roads, and signs that didn’t tell you what roads were coming up, but which roads you had just passed. Creative use of the English language was used by all.

On one of our sever stops for gas and Pepsi, we cracked open the supply container for a lovely lunch of bagels and cheese.

We arrived in Oklahoma City around 5pm and decided to stay there. We found a hotel, Motel 6, that was right next to a waffle house (a strong selling point!) and journeyed into downtown OKC in search of substance. Instead we found a Music fest going on and BEER!

We had dinner, and beer, at TapWerks, a bar with 126 beers on tap. Here is the Link to TapWerks. D and I went to the one in Bricktown. If we can drag ourselves away, we will continue the adventure tomorrow.
